OLYMPIC HISTORY IS EXQUISITELY EXCITING
Hi, My Olympiad Sports spectators,Did You/you know that:
— In ancient Grece women were forbidden to take part in or even to watch their Olympics?
— The punishment, so legends say – was carried out on any woman who even attempted to watch them?
— Either name given to the woman who disguised herself as a man so she could watch those games?
— The reason she went to such extremes to view the ancient Olympics?
— What happened to this courageous Woman when Her identity was discovered?
— The name of the ancient festival which was the equivalent of the Olympics for Women?
— The name of the person to whom those games were dedicated?
Now just think about how many spectacular performances would never have happened if the modern Olympics had the same restrictions on Women the ancient games had……… Sh*****t…I don’t think soooo…
