“i can’t stop thinking of You.”

I hear this so often I could set My watch by it. you might ask, “Is this the product of trance, Mistress? Do You hypnotize us into thinking of You constantly?”

Silly pets. How could you ask such a question? The obsessive thoughts that you experience of Me are of course an expression of My power, but they are just as much a function of the nature of the human mind. Pull up a chair, and let Goddess explain a few things to you about how your mind works.

People generally imagine that “thinking” and “feeling” are different and distinct, but scientists have known for a LONG time that just isn’t true. The emotional content of a “thought” may be weak or intangible, but it is there. The intellectual content of a “feeling” may be vague or difficult to express in words, but it is real. Thus, all thoughts are also emotions. All emotions are also thoughts.

That is why I dominate your awareness so irresistibly. My impact on you engages all dimensions of thought/feeling. I challenge your beliefs, incite your curiosity, stimulate your reflection. At the same time I arouse very powerful feelings in you. Yearning. Delight. Joy. Torment. your mind is hard-wired to find Me fascinating, the way a plant spontaneously grows toward light.

Another old canard that My Power disproves is the distinction between “thought” and “action.” Mind is body, body is mind. Encountering Me inevitably inspires you to action (get your mind out of the gutter, pet… I might be referring to just a change in hair style… maybe), and where the body goes the mind follows.

That is the truth of it, pet. Once your mind has engaged with Me, there is very little chance it will disengage, whether I hypnotize you or not. If I dominate your thoughts, it is simply an extension of the way I dominate everything else about you. But don’t worry… My power is to the mind what vitamins are to the rest of your body… VERY nourishing!
